Community Grant Program

The City of Calimesa is now accepting applications for the 2025 Community Grant Program. 

Eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations may request up to $3,000 to support programs and events that directly benefit Calimesa residents. Funding requests above $3,000 may be considered at the City Council’s discretion; funding is not guaranteed by application alone, and renewals are not automatic from year to year. If awarded, grant payments are issued within 30 days after the grantee’s program or event date.

Who’s eligible

• Registered 501(c)(3) organizations (must provide IRS Determination Letter matching the applying organization’s name)
• Organizations with pending or other charitable statuses are not eligible

What to include in your application

• Program/event description and how it benefits the Calimesa community
• Primary target group to be served
• Other/alternate funding sources beyond the grant request
• Program budget
• Most recent financial statements
